We are recruiting for a Repairs Technician to join a well-established business based in Langley. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in repairs who enjoys fault-finding, working with precision and delivering high-quality workmanship.
You'll be responsible for carrying out repairs, diagnostics and pre-sale inspections on a range of equipment, ensuring everything is tested, compliant and ready for customers.
Experience working with small components, electronic devices or medical equipment would be highly advantageous. This role requires excellent attention to detail, as many of the products involve intricate parts and precision assembly.
What We're Looking For
- At least two years' experience within a repairs, workshop or technical service environment.
- Experience carrying out diagnostics, repairs and equipment testing.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience working with small devices, components or precision parts.
- Previous experience within the medical equipment industry would be advantageous but is not essential.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a methodical approach to repairs.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out diagnostics and investigations on equipment and component parts.
- Identify, log and report faults accurately.
- Complete repairs in line with company quality and compliance standards.
- Conduct pre-sale inspections and functionality checks.
- Repair and refurbish machines and devices.
- Provide remote technical support to customers when required.
- Maintain accurate service and repair records.
- Ensure all equipment is tested and ready for customer use.
